UK Distribution Ltd today announced it has appointed Melvyn Phillips as their new Commercial Director.

Melvyn will take up his position on November 10 2008.

In this newly created position, Melvyn will be involved with all aspects of the company in both the UK and overseas.

John Wreaves, Managing Director of UK Distribution Ltd said, "I am delighted to have someone of Melvyn's calibre and experience on board."

Melvyn Phillips was with Source Interlink International for four years and from 1988-2003 and was Sales Director, Assistant Managing Director and from 2000 Deputy Managing Director of COMAG.

Phillips said, "The opportunity of joining John and his team brings many challenges and I am really excited by the prospect and absolutely thrilled to be joining .There are exciting plans going forward."
